Message there's too many 'i heard' and 'so and so said's going on.

The fact is, I have used my setup VERY successfully.
I run mid 1:30s at Hallet (Damon runs low 1:40s with willwoods...)

The fact is, you have never driven on a road course (ever to the best of my knowledge) with the brake configuration I use.
It took a few weekends to finally find a combination that worked. But I did. Ask member Chris-TTz. He didn't listen to my advice and he had brake fade all over the place. Ask Guapo. (he rans 1:40s in his NA). He listened and he never has brake fade.

Just because you have Autocrossed (one sub 60mph lap) does not mean you have experienced multiple 20 minutes (25-30minutes on sundays) track days.

I will not disagree that larger brakes are better. I WILL enforce that *** STOCK BRAKES PREPARED PROPERLY CAN PROVIDE SUBSTANTIAL BRAKING PERFORMANCE ***.

"Long story short my boost guage was off i think a couple psi and then the bulb went out on it that night. So I used a flashlight to read what my boost was. Looked like 19 pounds, but I guess I was wrong. Then to top it off, I was bouncing off the rev limiter and powershifted to third. And then the big boom. To my amazement, the next morning it acutlly started!!!! then I shut it off a couple secs later it was killing me to hear what it sounded like." - Posted by: hot90tt(underconstruction) on January 19, 2004 at 11:15 AM
